With the increase in pet travel, more and more hotels are appearing on the red carpet for our four-legged companions. But some charge pet fees that will break the budget! Find out which hotel chains suitable for pets accept pets free of charge.
For years, it has been common to see hotels that accept pets, which charge a pet fee of $ 10 to $ 20 per night to allow staff extra time to clean the room. But recently, this pattern has changed, and some hotels seem to be relying on pet fees to increase their score.
These days, it’s not uncommon to see pet-friendly hotels that charge an additional $ 50 to $ 100 per night to bring your pet!
But there are several hotels that reject this trend. They have taken a really friendly approach. Today we celebrate hotels suitable for pets, where pets are welcome to stay for free!
Hotels suitable for pets without fees for pets

Welcoming pets since 1962, Motel 6 is the first American national chain of motel-friendly pets. With an emphasis on providing affordable, “no-frills” accommodation, the quality of the rooms at Motel 6 can be volatile, and the brand’s popularity has suffered. But with 1400+ properties in the US and Canada, if you’re looking for a basic, cheap hotel room suitable for pets, you’ll almost always find Motel 6 nearby.
Motel 6 Pet Policy: Motel 6 allows up to two dogs or cats per room with a total weight of £ 150 or less and does not charge extra for pets. (Connected Studio 6 hotels charge a fee of $ 10 per night for pets, up to $ 75.)

How about La Quinta?
Experienced travelers with pets may be surprised that hotels in La Quinta are not included in this list of hotels where pets are accepted, where pets remain free. Welcoming up to two dogs or cats per room, La Quinta has for years been the most popular hotel chain suitable for pets.
But in 2018, the chain was purchased by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Shortly afterwards, many places in La Quinta began collecting fees for pets.
La Quinta Hotel Pet Policy: Most La Quinta hotels welcome two cats or dogs per room and charge a pet fee of $ 20 per night for a maximum of $ 40 per room. Pet policies vary by location, and some limit the size of the pet, so call the hotel directly before making your reservation at La Quinta.
